The Geneva House is a cozy built-in coffee lounge in the center of Grace Chapel. We have volunteers making coffee and serving donuts every service, reading material, and friendly people to meet. Though its a place of fun, we take the ministry seriously. This is not just about free donuts.
The original Geneva House was the home of Frenchman John Calvin in Geneva, Switzerland. John’s home became a focal point of the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth century when fleeing Protestants fled to Geneva for refuge from persecution.
In our present day here in the United States persecution often comes from the tyranny of the work-week, the daily grind, and the loneliness that can creep in to the modern 21st century lifestyle. The Geneva House is a place to come and recharge, share your burdens with people who care, and reconnect your heart under the canopy of God’s Grace.
